All of the Must-See Conan Releases in November 2026

by Lo Terry on November 6, 2026
  • The first frost is creeping down out of the Cimmerian hills, and this year the dead are walking in with it.

November closes the book on a war between two worlds and sends a young thief after the most dangerous score of his life.

Bar the door and stoke the fire.

Earl Norem on Your Wall: The Savage Sword of Conan 2027 Calendar

Earl Norem painted some of the most famous covers of the original Savage Sword of Conan magazine, and the 2027 calendar puts his paintings up where you’ll see them every day.

Every month marks dates from Conan’s long history, from Howard’s own life to the days his stories first hit Weird Tales. Specific days also honor the writers and artists who built the magazine, from Roy Thomas to Christy Marx.

It’s a limited edition with a short ordering window, so check the listing on conan.com before it closes.

The Demon of Tarantia: Conan & Dragonero #7

Last month, Conan and Ian Aranill, the dragon slayer called Dragonero, tore the stolen gems back from a demon in the ruins of Kuthchemes and made it home to Tarantia, only to find demons slaughtering the Aquilonian capital’s people.

Issue #7 is the finale of the seven-issue crossover from Dragonero co-creators Stefano Vietti and Luca Enoch, with art by Lorenzo Nuti. The gems are still the key, and the two warriors have to fight through a city overrun by demons to return them to the temple before the way between their worlds tears open for good.

Nuti handles the cover too, and it’s on sale November 4th.

A Story 48 Years in the Making: The Savage Sword of Conan #17

In 1978, a young writer named Christy Marx sold Roy Thomas her first Conan story, and it ran in the original Savage Sword of Conan #29 with a strong hint that Conan had left a daughter behind.

Marx went on to create Jem and the Holograms, and now she comes back to that story with artist Geof Isherwood to write its sequel. Alex Horley’s painted cover pays homage to Ernie Chan’s cover for that 1978 issue, and Nick Marinkovich provides the alternate.

Frank Tieri and Adam Gorham back it up with a siege-set heist for lost jewels guarded by hungry crocodiles, and Zack Davisson and Ben Dewey close the magazine with a pack of ferocious cats and the keeper who commands them, on sale November 11th.

Conan’s Second Year in One Box: Conan the Barbarian Volumes 4-6 Slipcase

This trade paperback slipcase collects issues #13 through #24 of Jim Zub’s run, following a young Conan north out of Cimmeria in search of glory, through the days after Bêlit’s death, and into the Stygian serpent conspiracy that set up Scourge of the Serpent.

Doug Braithwaite and Danica Brine handle the early volumes, and Volume 6 marks Fernando Dagnino’s first work on the series.

Roberto De La Torre painted the slipcase, and three art cards come packed inside. It’s $49.99, on sale November 17th.

The Dead Rise: Conan: Tides of the Tyrant-King #3

Issue #2 sent its two heroes down very different roads: Conan escorting Zuleika home while wary of the poison she carries, and Stephen Costigan, Howard’s World War I veteran, giving himself over to Thulsa Doom in the 1920s.

In #3, the Tyrant-King’s power keeps rising across both eras, and if Conan and his allies can’t turn the tide, the dead will overtake the living.

Jim Zub and Jesús Merino keep the event rolling with covers from Mahmud Asrar, Merino, Danny Earls, and John Baizley, on sale November 18th.

The Bride Job: Conan the Barbarian #37

Cursed Shores Beyond wrapped up in October, and #37 jumps back to Conan’s youth as a thief in Zamora, which makes it the cleanest place to start reading the series this year.

Someone hires the young Cimmerian to “steal” a bride away from her noble family so she can marry her secret lover. Even if he pulls it off, the reward will cost Conan far more than he bargained for.

Zub reunites with Ivan Gil, who drew their desert epic “Dwellers of the Oasis” in Savage Sword #14, and the five covers come from Gil, Human Qutub, Carlos Magno, Fernando Dagnino, and Roberto De La Torre, on sale November 25th.

The Swift Against the Storm in the Newest Entrance to the Heroic Legends Series: El Borak and The Dust Demons of Nuristan

Francis Xavier Gordon is one of Howard’s great overlooked heroes: a Texas gunfighter turned adventurer in early 20th-century Afghanistan, known to the hill tribes as El Borak, the Swift.

In Will Murray’s new Heroic Legends novella, a shaman holds the country hostage by raising dust storms over Nuristan, and the new Shah’s court sends Gordon to kill him.

Gordon figures the man is a fraud until dust devils tear into him and he barely escapes with his life. Murray has spent years continuing Doc Savage and Tarzan, so he knows exactly how this kind of pulp should move, and the ebook arrives November 24th.

Coming Soon: Conan: Gold for Dark Gods

Jonathan French, author of The Grey Bastards, has written a Tides of the Tyrant-King novel, and it’s a heist. Conan returns to Shadizar to rob the masked rulers who executed his friend, and the fortress-palace where they hoard their wealth also hides the pacts with dark gods that keep them in power. More on this one soon.

Can Conan stop Doom’s tide before it swallows the living? And what will a stolen Zamorian bride cost the thief who took the job? Tell your shop to hold both, because the answers are already on their way.

In his effort to help Heroic Signatures tell legendary stories, Lo Terry does a lot. Sometimes, that means spearheading an innovative, AI-driven tavern adventure. In others it means writing words in the voice of a mischievous merchant for people to chuckle at. It's a fun time.
