Issue #1 of Patch Zircher’s auteur miniseries pulled Solomon Kane out of the African wilderness and dropped him, guided by a mysterious black-maned lion, into the heart of 16th-century India, a land contested by the Mughal Empire, Portuguese colonizers, and the independent kingdom of Gondwana under the warrior queen Maharani Durgavati. 

Issue #2, arriving August 19th, ends the wandering.
