Introducing Conan Unconquered

  • How about a Conan game developed by talents responsible for real-time strategy titles such as Command & Conquer and Star Wars: Empire at War? Well, that’s what Funcom and Petroglyph is getting ready to invite us to, with the upcoming survival RTS Conan Unconquered.

Yes, survival RTS. Let’s hear from the developers themselves:

There’s a lot of interesting things going on here, especially the fact that there’s co-op against the horde and the elements, rather than competitive play against each other. And if you were wondering where that big colossus fits in, it’s because the game is based on the classic Conan story, The Black Colossus, written by Robert E. Howard and published in 1933.

If you really want to dig in, here’s 20 minutes of gameplay.

The cinematic trailer sells the game well, so let’s wrap up with that one, and the launch date: May 30th, 2019, for PC. Sign up for more news on the official website.
